Old Bridge Rifle & Pistol Club will be hosting a National Range Officers Institute (NROI) Range Officer Certification Class on March 18 & 19, 2017.  

No prior experience required, but student MUST BE a member of USPSA prior to class.

SATURDAY 3/18/17 - 7:45AM UNTIL ABOUT 5:30PM

SUNDAY 3/19/17 – 7:45AM UNTIL ABOUT 3:00 PM

2016 OBCATS 3 –Gun Rules

We convert raw time to points - 100 points per stage – this is to normalize each stage, meaning no one stage will be the sole determining factor in the match.

The following events are grounds for a DQ (this is not a complete list but serves as examples):

180 break, dropped gun during a COF (loaded or not), AD, safety not applied on dumped gun with ammo in the gun and you continue on downrange of the gun. Round leaving the range (birdshot on aerial clay is ok) , slug hit on KD steel, rifle hit on pistol steel, ANY use of magnetic rifle bullets. Scoring and penalties

A Range Officer may issue a match DQ for any violation he/she deems serious enough, even if there is not a specific rule written here.

All disqualifications will be reviewed by the Range Master upon request from the competitor.
